Thunderground Sound Studios offers top-quality sound at affordable rates. With over 30 years of experience, owner and engineer Dan Tinker provides exceptional recordings for musicians. His goal is to offer a professional and comfortable environment for artists to bring their projects to life.

DAN TINKER

Dan started playing guitar at 13, was playing in bands at 14 and traveling on the road as a working musician at 19. Around that time, he moved to Nashville, TN, where he enrolled at Belmont University, studying Music Business/Recording Engineering.

Still playing in a Nashville band, he also worked at the Country Music Association, starting out in the mailroom and finally working as a personal assistant to Executive Director Jo Walker. Over the years he continued working in various bands and recording in a variety of recording studios, both as a musician and engineer.

Dan opened The Attic Studio in Laramie, WY in 1994, and moved into the current space on East Grand Avenue in Laramie in 2006, changing the name to Thunderground Sound Studio.
